What Veeva CRM is built to do
Veeva CRM is the CRM many pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers give their field teams. Its license validation lives in the sampling workflow. When a rep records a sample or business reply card for an HCP, Veeva checks the license number, the expiration date, the status, and whether the license category matches the product. If validation fails, the rep cannot capture the signature.
That is the right control for a manufacturer handing samples to a prescriber.
What WorkdID is built to do
A distributor has a different problem. It ships orders every day to hundreds or thousands of licensed accounts. Any one of those licenses can expire or be suspended between orders. WorkdID watches all of them.
- Every account, every day, against state boards of pharmacy, state medical boards, the NPI registry, and the DEA.
- Alerts before trouble, at 90, 60, 30, and 7 days ahead of an expiration, and within a day of a board action.
- A hold at order entry in Workd, so an out-of-standing account cannot ship until compliance clears it.
- An audit trail with the time, source, and board record for every check.
Which one fits
Choose Veeva CRM if you are a manufacturer and your main license risk is reps sampling and detailing to prescribers.
Choose WorkdID if you are a distributor and your main license risk is an order shipping to an account that is no longer licensed.
Plenty of companies need both jobs done. The two do not have to replace each other.
